Air Arabia and Yeti Airlines have joined forces to start Nepal's first low-cost airline.Air Arabia is already an established budget airline that carries passengers around the middle East region and Yeti Airlines are Nepals leading domestic carrier.
FlyYeti's maiden voyage was from Kathmandu this week to Sharjah.
"This newest hub will give air travellers who use Air Arabia access to new destinations in India and wider south Asia, as well as the Far East and central Asia," said Adel Ali, chief executive of Air Arabia.
FlyYeti will give passengers an inexpensive way to connect Kathmandu with India,the far east, South Asia and central Asia.
This is the fantastic news all those budget travellers and backpackers have been waiting for.
